SHIPPING POLICY
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed with Alume. through our Services.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Return & Refund Policy.
2. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS
We ship to selected countries within the European Union and, where available, internationally.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders to certain locations at our discretion.
3. PROCESSING TIMES
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
Processing times may be extended during periods of high demand, holidays, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.
4. SHIPPING TIMES
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Typical delivery times:
- European Union: 3–10 business days
- International: 5–15 business days
Delays may occur due to:
- carrier disruptions
- customs procedures
- incorrect address details
- force majeure events
5. SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and clearly displayed before purchase.
Unless otherwise stated:
- shipping fees are non-refundable
- additional charges (customs, import duties) are the responsibility of the customer
6. ORDER CONFIRMATION AND TRACKING
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email.
Where available, tracking information will be provided.
It is your responsibility to monitor shipment progress using the provided tracking details.
7. DELIVERY AND RISK
For consumers within the European Union, risk of loss or damage passes to you only when you, or a third party designated by you, take physical possession of the goods, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive.
8. FAILED DELIVERY
If delivery fails due to reasons attributable to you, including:
- incorrect or incomplete address
- failure to collect the shipment
- refusal of delivery
we reserve the right to:
- charge additional shipping and handling costs
- deduct incurred costs from any refund
- cancel the order
9. DELAYS AND LIABILITY
We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- shipping carrier issues
- customs clearance delays
- strikes or transport disruptions
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee delivery times.
10. PARTIAL SHIPMENTS
We reserve the right to ship orders in multiple packages where necessary.
11. LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, you must notify us within a reasonable time.
We may require supporting evidence, including photographs or carrier documentation.
We reserve the right to investigate claims before issuing a replacement or refund.
12. CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES
For orders shipped outside the European Union:
- you are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs charges
- delays due to customs are beyond our control
13. ADDRESS ACCURACY
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
We are not liable for delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.
14. REFUSED OR RETURNED SHIPMENTS
If a shipment is returned to us due to your actions or failure to receive it:
- return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund
- original shipping costs will not be refunded
- additional handling fees may apply
