Alume. began in a quiet, familiar place our own home.
When we bought our house in our late 20s, we imagined filling it with pieces that felt warm, natural, and truly ours. But as we searched, we kept running into the same problem: decor that didn't match our minimal, nature-inspired style, felt mass-produced, or came with a price tag that didn't make sense. Too often, it lacked transparency about where it was made, how it was produced, and what it was made of.
So we asked ourselves a simple question: why not create it ourselves?
From Personal Project to Something More Meaningful
What started as a solution for our own home quickly became something deeper. We began crafting candles from 100% soy wax and designing decorative resin pieces that reflected exactly what we had been searching for clean shapes, soft tones, and a calm, timeless aesthetic.
Every item is made locally, with care and intention, using environmentally friendly materials wherever possible. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is mass-produced. Each piece is made to feel honest.
